Approaches To Resolving Differences In Professional Judgment In Site Remediation
7:30AM-1:00PM
University Hall – Montclair State University
30 Normal Avenue, Montclair, NJ
Given the complexity of cleanups, the existence of comingled plumes, land use issues, and the use of guidance documents, etc., a LSRP’s decision on remedial approaches may be challenged or questioned by the public, a peer, a responsible party, or a government agency. Establishing a process on how to resolve or address these differences is critical to the success of SRRA. This workshop is intended to give the licensed site remediation professional (LSRP), the attorney, the engineer, the environmental consultant and the responsible party, an overview of the various decision points with a cleanup and possible approaches to resolving differences.
