ULI 2013 Housing Awards Program Seeking Nominees
April 11, 2013
ULI’s Terwilliger Center for Housing needs your help to identify the best examples of workforce housing developments and public policy for our 2013 housing awards program.
While the mission of the Terwilliger Center has expanded to address the full spectrum of housing issues, workforce housing remains a special challenge for many communities. Our awards program is designed to recognize outstanding efforts to expand housing opportunity to families earning 60-120 percent of area median income. Awards are given in two categories:
· The Jack Kemp Workforce Housing Models of Excellence Award recognizes exemplary developments that meet workforce housing needs in the local community. Learn more about the 2012 winners and finalists here.
· The Robert C. Larson Workforce Housing Public Policy Award recognizes innovative state and local policy initiatives that provide ongoing and sustainable support for workforce housing. Learn more about the 2012 winners here.
The submission deadline is Friday, May 10th and we need your help to spread to the word about this opportunity to be recognized. Please see below and the attached for materials to assist you with this outreach. We appreciate any help you can provide in sharing this information with your network and with any specific potential applicants.
