Public Private Partnerships ( P3s)
November 5, 2013
Join ULI and NJPO at the New Jersey State League of Municipalities Convention on November 20, 2013 from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. Room 314 Atlantic City Convention Center.
In today’s economy and with government budgets stretched to their limits, private developers and public agencies are more frequently turning to each other for assistance in completing critical projects. The Public/Private Partnership has become a necessary and common way of doing business.
Whether in the form of pure joint ventures or partnerships, or in the form of public financial incentives or assistance, cooperation and coordination between the public and private sectors are vital to a successful project.
James Rhatican, Esq., of Wolff & Samson will lead a lively panel discussion exploring means available to public agencies and private firms to coordinate such efforts, and the incentive programs available to assist. Among other things, the panel will address the Economic Opportunity Act and the Grow NJ and ERG programs, and will examine successful case studies using public/private partnerships. This presentation proves to be illuminating for both the private development and business community and the government representatives who work with them.
