Ironside and Audible-Newark, NJ
Join ULI NNJ for a behind the scenes tour and talk of two of Newark’s newest impactful redevelopment projects including Ironside Newark, an adaptive reuse project transforming a historic warehouse into state- of the- art office and retail, and Audible, the audio book subsidiary of Amazon that moved from the suburbs into Newark.
The morning will kick off with a talk by Aisha Glover, President and CEO of Newark CEDC who will speak about redevelopment efforts currently underway and on the horizon in downtown Newark, along with representatives of Perkins Eastman and Edison Properties. Shuttle service will be provided between the two venues and from Audible back to NJIT.

Transformation of a Downtown Transit Village- Metuchen, NJ
Join ULI NNJ with a tour and talk by Mayor Jonathan Busch, Steve Santola of Woodmont, Borough Administrator Jay Muldoon, and planner Jim Constantine of LRK. This insider’s walking tour will highlight several innovative redevelopment projects that have transformed the local landscape and will include Woodmont’s Metro at Metuchen, a 273 -unit transit- oriented development apartment, a new Town Square, a new Whole Foods, a downtown CVS, and a range of smaller infill projects.
